Rabbi Yaron Reuven answers a question that is very popular with antisemites, "Why have the Jewish people been kicked out of so many countries???" The Rabbi gives a surprising answer, it's actually part of prophecies in the Five Books of Moses and reaffirmed by the later Prophets. Continuous exile is how HaShem keeps the Jewish people from being assimilated. Unfortunately, success often leads to a lax in Torah observance, and HaShem causes antisemitism to rise to get us to do TeShuva. Rabbi Reuven says, there are even explicit warnings in the Torah to be aware of the danger of success.
