Rabbi Yaron Reuven tells a couple of stories about the sad State of Jewish Education In Israel and how it all started before Israel became a state in 1948. Rabbi Reuven says, that by some recent surveys it's obvious the American education is abysmal, but you'd expect Jews in Israel to be able to answer the simple question: Who is a Jew? Over 90 years ago Rav Elchonon Wasserman zt"l warned that Jewish education was in great danger, and the problem has only gotten worse over time.
