What is Modern Orthodox Judaism? They like to bring sources, a lot of sources. Sources are good, but with too many choices and no clear Halacha to follow, people get confused. Rabbi Yaron Reuven discusses the Gemara in Masechet Rosh Hashanah 14a and the problems with stringencies, leniencies and not having a Rabbi to follow for Halacha. The bottom line is, the foundation of every Kosher Jewish community is Yirat Shamayim (Fear of the Almighty).
