The Serious Problem of Talking in Synagogue
- Team Hashem

Talking in synagogue is a serious problem that has existed throughout the ages. Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings serious warnings from Rebbe Elimelech mi Lizhensk, the Chida, and even Elyiahu HaNavi for those that talk in shul during prayer and reading from the Torah scroll, drink in shul or make it a hang out. The Sages teach us that some of the worst punishments occur due to talking during prayer. Since our prayers take the place of Korbanot, if someone talks during prayer, the Korban isn't accepted and there is no atonement!
