The Reward For Abandoning God | Parashat Vaetchanan

Parashat Vaetchanan says, it's nothing to be jealous over. Today many people look at the success of people that have completely abandoned HaShem and His Torah and mistakenly think this wealth is something to be jealous of. Rabbi Reuven says, Parashat Vaetchanan reveals that the success of the wicked is really a punishment. HaShem promises to quickly pay His haters for the little good they've done so He doesn't have to see them in Olam HaBa. HaShem says, the reward for the righteous is awaiting them in the World to Come, any payment in this world is only to do more mitzvot.
