Parashat Shoftim False Prophets
Parashat Shoftim is full of warnings to beware of the snares idolatry and false prophets. Rabbi Yaron Reuven says, that while we may not have false prophets using powers of sorcery to deceive people, the world is full of speakers and so called rabbis with the power of speech telling lies and deceiving people into thinking sins are great mitzvot.
