Losing A Child Is Worse Than Gog uMagog
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in Masechet Brachot says that there is one thing that is worse than the war of Gog uMagog, the pain of a parent losing a child or having a child go off the derech. Rabbi Yaron Reuven says, some things a person just doesn't understand until they've been through it themselves.
