Last Minute TeShuva Before Rosh HaShanah
Rabbi Yaron Reuven tells a story about TeShuva during Elul and the blessing of a Tzaddik that was fulfilled in an unexpected way. Nearly 200 years ago Jew was fired from his job and went off the derech, and became a missionary for the christian church. After many years he realized his enormous sin and decided to do TeShuva during the month of Elul. He sat in a room in his daughters home and cried every night. One night he came to her and told her the story of how it all happened.
