How Bad Is Watching TV? Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings a real life example of divorce and a chiddush on Parashat Vayeshev about how bad it is to watch TV or secular shows instead of learning Torah. The Sages say in the End of Days HaShem will increase the knowledge available to people, but if a person doesn't fill their mind with Torah, then just like the pit the brothers threw Yosef into only had snakes and scorpions but no water, their mind will only be filled heresy.
