He Stopped His Son from Going to Shul, Then the Unthinkable Happened
Rabbi Yaron Reuven tells nightmare stories of Jewish parents that discouraged their children from going to Shul and doing TeShuva. One father threatened the Rabbi teaching his son, and forbid his son from going to Torah classes, so his son he went back to his old life of drugs. After a few months the Rabbi received a call from the father crying. Rabbi Reuven says, if you're not going to do TeShuva yourself, at least don't stop your kids, the Torah very well could be what's keeping them alive.
