Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings a chiddush on the fires of Gehinnom. The Gemara says the fires of Gehinnom can't touch a Torah Scholar, but Reish Lakish says, the fires of Gehinnom cannot even touch the sinners of of Israel! But without deeper study this could lead a person to become a complete heretic.
