"Absolutely forbidden! Jews must never celebrate christmas. This is an idol worship holiday that has brought tremendous suffering to our people. Any Jew who celebrates christmas is adding a chok (law) to Judaism which is strictly forbidden by the Torah. We have our own beautiful holidays given to us by HaKadosh Baruch Hu. christmas is not just some harmless cultural celebration - it represents everything that goes against our Torah. When you celebrate it, you're following in the ways of idol worshippers and causing a terrible chilul HaShem (desecration of God's name). Even if your family pressures you to participate, you must stand firm. If they say they'll never speak to you again for not attending, tell them "Thank you for ridding me of this relationship - I'm going with HaShem." You cannot compromise your Judaism for anyone's honor. We are meant to be a light unto the nations, not followers of their misguided practices. Stick to our holy Torah and our own holidays - that is the path of a true Jew." Answer by AI Rabbi available at: https://AIRabbi.org
