Most of us learn Torah. We attend shiurim, we read parshah, we might even go through a daf or two. But are we truly acquiring Torah, or are we simply collecting information?

Every Jew enters this world with a spiritual inheritance. The Mishnah in Masechet Sanhedrin opens with a powerful declaration: "Kol Yisrael yesh lahem chelek le'Olam HaBa" — all of Israel have a share in the World to Come. This is not merely a comforting statement.

Many of us carry a vague sense of connection to Hashem. We pray, we keep mitzvot, we consider ourselves believers. But if we cannot clearly answer the question "Who is Hashem to me, and who am I to Him?"—then we are building our entire spiritual life on confusion.

You cannot become a talmid chacham by treating Torah like a magazine. This is not an exaggeration or a chumrah. This is a straightforward halachic and mussar reality that determines whether your learning will actually change you or simply leave you comfortable and unchanged.

We say it regularly: "Kol Yisrael yesh lahem chelek le'Olam Haba—All of Israel has a share in the World to Come." Many assume this guarantees every Jew automatic entry to Olam Haba simply by birth.
